Cute as a Button was born from a very personal place. Like many parents and carers in the medical community, I found myself searching for products that were not only functional but also brought a little joy and comfort to what can be a difficult journey. When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I decided to make it myself.

Why Tubie Pads?

Tubie pads — the soft, padded covers that protect feeding tube sites — might seem like a small thing, but for families living with tube feeding every day, they make a world of difference. They protect sensitive skin, reduce irritation, and most importantly, they can be made beautiful. A bright pattern or a favourite character can turn a medical necessity into something a child (or adult!) actually feels good about wearing.

I started making tubie pads because I wanted every person who wears one to feel seen, cared for, and a little bit special.

Every single item in this shop is handmade by me, right here in the UK. I carefully select soft, skin-friendly fabrics that are gentle enough for sensitive skin and durable enough for everyday wear. Each pad is cut, sewn, and finished by hand — no mass production, no shortcuts.
